Head Gaskets

I'm swapping heads on a GEP 6.5 before I install it in my 998 and I'm trying to decide what brand of head gaskets to use. I have used FEL-PRO for 20 years with no issues. But with the head/head gasket issues we have I was wondering what others have used. And your results. Now, I know I am going to get flamed for this but I am thinking a will NOT use studs. I will use new bolts because I would like to be able to remove a head with out having to remove the engine if the need arises in the future.

Only when overheated.

As long as you don't boost over 13ish psi, the stock bolts are good, just not re-useable.

No boost worries. It will be a NA engine when finished.

I wouldn't spend the money on studs anyhoo then.
