You might try using "military hmmwv camper" in a search engine.
I just tried that here and just cussed.

I know for sure that we have a member here with a dodge ambulance and two kids and a dog that go camping in one.

Just joined and thanks to admin for accepting me. Bought this ol girl a few months back and been working on her to get road worthy. Made my first trip with the grandsons over memorial weekend and served us well. Functional but a long way to go.

There's a guy in here with an M997 who was looking to make his rear doors. If I recall he was doing a ambo conversion. I'll see if I can find it.

I'm in the process of looking for an ambo body for mine possibly. I currently have an F550 ambulance on super singles that I have partially converted

The hard part to find are the rear doors. TNJ Murray in DE recently had a complete take-off ambulance body with the doors for sale. I forget what he was asking. I would reach out to John.
