KY NOOB/tcm question

long time lurker, first time poster. I recently purchased a 1097a2 model hmmwv. I sure appreciate all the work you folks put into the website, and to the fellas that post responses to the problems, its a great help! I do have a question, if this is not the correct place to ask, point me in the right direction please. My vehicle has the 6.5 na/4l80e, its great. It also has an aftermarket USShift transmission controller. controller works great. it was installed when I purchased vehicle. I noticed quite a few folks running the aftermarket controllers on 4l80e transmissions, how are you making the connections waterproof and how are you protecting the controller itself? thanks, badbil
