Hello I have done alot of reading and research about pizgauers and I really am ready to buy one but I have never seen one in person and would really like to see one before I purchase. So I was hoping there was someone on the northeAst that would let me look at there truck. And of course if your interested in selling it I'd be interested in that as well. I think I'm more interested in a 710m than a 712 but I'd love to see any.

Thank you in advance!

Kolton, Welcome to the site! You may also want to post up a thread on the real 4X4 site.

They are almost all Pingauer people there and you may find someone close to you. I have had my Pinz for almost 4 years and am still very pleased with it. I have a 710M that was a radio truck (slightly different rear seating). Both of my kids keep asking if they can have it and I always say "It is in the will boy's". I hope that you find someone close but, trust me, you will love the truck. There is always a big Pinz showing at the Florida SS Rally in the spring. The rally is close to Orlando, why not come down and make it part of your vacation!

I have a 710M in VT you are welcome to see, if you're ever in the area.
It is an amazing piece of equipment with quality that will astound you.
It is easy to work on everything in this truck.

There was a place in south-central New Hampshire that was selling Pinzgauers for awhile; they even had one sitting in a parking lot in Milford, NH for awhile with some advertising on it some years back. If I recall, they were fairly local (within 20 miles or so of Milford), but searching doesn't locate them any more. Perhaps they went the way of things. I'd be curious to find out if they are still around - because I considered the Pinz before, but now that I've got M35's, I'd really like to consider adding a Pinz to the stable.

I bought mine from Karl Portman in Laval, PQ, Canada. He goes to Switzerland and buys Pinzgauers at auction. You can check pinzgauercanada.com Also Unimogs and G wagons. The vehicles need to be over 25 years old to bring back into USA so no G wagon for me. I had no difficulty at the border. Actually the US border guards were checking it out and commenting on how cool it is. The best part was no EUC was required. Mine gets 14 miles per gallon. It's a symphony of gears so hearing protection is a consideration.
