Genuine Vietnam era vintage US Military Surplus.

New Old Stock (NOS) M1956 Sleeping Bag Carrying Strap Assembly made from 1-inch wide olive drab (OD7) cotton webbing. These allow the sleeping bag to be carried on the M1956 suspenders. A strap is passed over each of the wearer's shoulders and through the web keeper on the suspender's shoulder pad. In order to stop the bag swaying about, two adjustable tie down straps are passed around the sides of the wearer and attach to the loops on the suspender's front belt hooks. The webbing is mildew resistant and water repellent treated. Also great for strapping any sleeping bag.

Use on other types of sleeping bags, bed rolls, sleeping mats, pads, laundry bags, and many other types of field gear.

Note: Due to the manufacture's treatments there is some odor, also due to age and storage, there will be some corrosion on the steel and brass hardware but this will not affect the function of the strap assembly. Not intended for life safety devices.

Made in U.S.A.

Sleeping bag not included.
