Rear seatbelts M923A2> do they exist?

First post ever, starting a tour operation here in Canada. Trying to move mountains(I saw one wiggle a bit). Before I purchased the truck I called the local Ministry Of Transport and they said " If it was designed to carry people, we will allow it" so began my trek. I have jumped through many hoops, for safety and liability. Working on such items as a rear liftgate, wheelchair tie downs, handrails etc. Awhile back I saw a photo of rear seat belts for the troop seats, cant seem to find them anywhere. If it is safety equipment from the factory, then it's my easiest way to legality. Its not easy running one of these in Canada, I envy all you guys down south for the half price trucks and cheap insurance. (over 8k for insurance this year without CGL). Any help would be appreciated!

US Army cargo trucks do not have seat belts installed in the cargo/troop compartment from the manufacturer. They use one strap draped between the highest 'backrest' points at the rear of the cargo area as the 'troop retention strap'.

You can add any additional lap belts as you feel you need. Some people on here have done it.

I ditched the troop seat in my tour truck in favor of bus seats. Saw your PM, email me back about your lift gate issues, I was told in no uncertain terms if I added a lift gate for people they would not insure me. At the moment we use stairs with integrated handrails. As to the seatbelts you can custom order them cheap enough from several companies.

Not much help, but I hope you have a plan to fill the gap between the back rest and seat with the troop seats deployed.
