I'm getting ready for the cold Dakota winters (hey, the high the other day was 62 and I could see my breath the other morning [and I even brushed my teeth!]) and think it's about time to replace all the original window (door and windshield) and door rubber seals. I've looked over some of the threads and am interested in knowing if replacing what I have will lead to disapointment or not. My original rubber is in decent shape but it all has shrank (shrunk?) over the years and I'm tired of all the breezes in the cab during the winter. I thought fresh rubber would gain a little, recognizing that I can't stop all the air. What I'm concerned about is quality of the replacements. I've read that some NOS ones are brittle and might not last long. A lot of new ones are crummy aftermarket. Can anyone recommend a vendor with **the highest quality** stuff out there? A vauge request I know, but if I'm going to shell out the $$ and time to do, I want the best possible parts to make it happen.
I'm intrested in the collective thought. I'm making my own boots for all the shifters and am doing the regular things like plugging all the holes, etc.
Thanks,
Allen
