I am completely unaware of how to adjust my Deuce clutch. Every TM I’ve checked has no info on adjustment, only replacement. Can someone tell me which TM explains how to adjust a Deuce clutch? Thank you
I have a son in the Air Force who is back in the States And will be stationed in Arlington, VA. He has a motorcycle and motorcycle trailer stored in north Las Vegas. He leaves from North Carolina in the morning to get his items and might need help loading them in my full-sized truck...
Thursday, July 4, starts at 10:00 am. I usually get there at 9:30. Turn down Pea Ridge Street at the united Methodist church. Narrow road, I'm usually near the end.
Very good small town parade with lots of patriotism.
My son is stationed in England with the Air Force. Twice now his base has opened up for an informal vehicle show. This morning there were several MV’s: a Humvee and several British MV’s, besides many antique civilian cars. And there was a Mustang. I figure an Airman had it shipped over when...
I started cleaning up the Tool Trailer. Never noticed that the data plate says it's serial number 16. One of the earliest made, 1961. Thought it was kind of neat.
Haven't used the cover for my 1953 M101A1 in ages. Was reorganizing my wood shop where the cover was stored nice and dry. Found it filled with black ants. Threw it out on the driveway and fold after fold had ants. Sprayed while unfolding, and as I unfolded it I saw holes. Many small holes...
First of all, this is not mine. My son got a new job, and his boss is getting rid of some stuff. I went by today and looked at it. Pics tell the story, and I asked his boss for a price. But he said to see what it's worth. He does have a title and tires are newish.
Just trying to help...
Finally got pics downloaded. Glen Alpine parade, Bruce in his 1943 Jeep, AMGeneral in his Goat, and my Deuce. First parade for my patriotic grandson. Next year I hope he's in the Deuce.
Pressure washed and painted the Deuce last week. Got my stencils from THE Evil Dr. Ham Hocks while on vacation. Real happy with the lettering on the bumpers. LSM 150 is my father's ship from WWII. 366 FW is the Gunfighters in Mtn Home, ID, where our oldest son is stationed. Old Mose is for...
Bought one of Gimpy's $24.99 fiberglass headboards with free shipping via EMD???, alias porta John. Finally got around to putting it in this afternoon. Thought for sure something wouldn't be easy. Either the old one would be stuck, or new one wouldn't line up. But, the old came right out...
Way back in the spring, a poplar snapped in the wind and landed on the BACK of the Deuce, ruining the already rotting troop seats, but leaving the cab unscathed. Been looking for fiberglass troop seats ever since, no luck. Did not want to paint all the wood with as many coats as it was going...
Finally my winch truck is a winch truck. Bought my M37 about 3 years ago, and it came with a disassembled winch that never got put together. Found this winch about three weeks ago, and put it on today.
pulling the winch off the old truck and putting it on mine took about 1.5 hrs. Went...
Picked this up this afternoon. Not sure if it runs. I want a few parts off it, but if i can't get it running, the rest will be for sale. Has Deuce axles and tires, a six cylinder Chevy, maybe out of a cckw?. Good hood, steps, fenders, bed is very solid but has been modified. Has deuce...
Glen Alpine had their annual July 4th Parade - rain or shine. Only go a little wet. My youngest was home from the USMC before leaving for Japan. He drove the M37. The silver haired lady is the widow of a B17 tail gunner who passed away last July.
The Hickory, NC Crawdad Baseball Team will honor Our Fallen Heroes this Friday night, and they have asked that we bring any trucks that we can. We've done this before. Drivers and friends get in free.
Gates open at 6 and we are asked to be there by 6. I plan to leave Morganton by 5:30...
First of all, this is not mine. Some friends at church saw it at a car lot in Longview. I checked it out today after work. I am tempted but don't need a project truck. Will try to get pics off my phone.
The car lot owner took it as a trade. He said he'd take $3000. He was three when his...
