What does the M37 bed weigh?

Still looking for a number if anyone knows how much the M37 bed weighs. The cab is going on, then the front end, and the bed last. I'm thinking by the end of June will be a little ambitious.

    M37 Restomod?

Still trying to figure out what to do for a radiator. I would like to have one with a tranny cooler and everything standard/universal would have to be adapted heavily. I might have to see if the big city has a radiator shop that can build one.

    M56B1 questions

Don't see many of those around. In fact it's the only one I've seen. Looks very original and complete. Very cool. What's it worth? I have no idea, but rare doesn't necessarily mean high value. But then again... it only takes one guy that has to own it and is willing to pay you for it. Very cool...

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Just thought I'd bump this thread to see if anyone might be interested in answering the question. Thanks if you can.

    FL Insurance policies

I know you're not the insurance guy, but do you have any idea if they will cover a classic car for liability only? Maybe restricted mileage?

What does the M37 bed weigh?

If you're in the process and have the ability to weigh the bed, that would be great. I'd appreciate it very much.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Yeah, the TMs don't show any weights. As far as me being "patronizing", I'm trying not to be rude so that may come across as patronizing to people that read it that way. It seems like these internet forums go both ways, either to angry responses or to being patronizing. If me trying not to be...

What does the M37 bed weigh?

LOL... That's funny. I just accused a guy of that on another forum because he insists he needs really high quality, matching paint... to touch up holes he's going to drill in his engine compartment to mount some struts to lift the hood... and the holes are UNDERNEATH the brackets that will hold...

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Yup... Too short. Don't really want to make it shorter by doing something dangerous. A good answer from someone that knows would make it easy.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Well it looks like I'll have to lever it onto the trailer and take it down to the local scales to see what it weighs. After all the answers it's just made me more curious.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

Appreciate the ideas and if all else fails that's probably what will happen, but I'm still looking for a number. Surely someone knows with all the guys here that know every piece of trivia possible about their vehicles. I used to do 400 pound reps with my legs, but I'm a lot older now. I tried...

What does the M37 bed weigh?

While I appreciate the thought, I'd rather know what it weighs. I'm not inclined to break a $1000 hoist or break a cable so it falls on me just to give it a try.

What does the M37 bed weigh?

I've got an electric hoist rated for 500 pounds. It lifts the cab just fine, but I suspect the cab weighs less than the bed. Does anyone know what the M37 bed weighs? Thanks...

Good, Cheap, Fast - Pick one (M37 Rebuild)

You guys are way too upscale for me. I have less than 5K into my chassis swap, will be able to drive freeway speeds, stop, and tow, and buy mechanical parts at any parts store easily. If I have more than 7K in this truck when I'm done I will be surprised... and that includes a complete new...

    M37 Restomod?

Just checking in. The M37 cab morphing into the Chevy floor is proving to be a bear. Trying to seal all the differences and make them all watertight is frustrating. I'm going to use fiberglass once the metal is all welded and stable to cover gaps that it would take a lot of fabricating to do...

    Electric M37

I think anyone that reads this thread has got to be rooting for you. I'd sure like to see it doing the hills and freeway. Any updates? Are you getting any feedback from those that make the parts? How many of us need to call them?

    M37 Restomod?

The chassis swap is looking good so far. The Chevy floor looks good in the M37 cab.
