Had person on FB that seemed to know, said the M105A3 wheel is 10" wide. Is this the same rim? As the tires they have are 10R22.5 and the tread appeared about even, I believed him. Is this the M105A3 wheel? edit. The link has one with ruler and it's width is about 7.5". It link does not...
Dave...there is now way for me to buy new rims at those prices. If I cannot find salvage, it simply would not work. I'll stick to the M35A3 wheels and put 395's all the way around or stick to tube rim for the back.
I cannot find the Isuzu 22.5" wheels. Have you found them or any other Budd that fits the 6x8.75"? Someone mentioned the M105A3 wheels for the front, so I'm looking for some. I can get a tire with some "float" for steer then. They are supposed to be 10" wide.
A person contacted me on FB that has the A3, 22.5 rims and tires for sale. The tires look very nice and are Goodyear G186 tire size 10R22.5. I do not need the tires. They are 2002 date and don't appear to have any cracking. Is anyone with an A3 or semi trailer using 22.5 need these tires...
Brakes, height and ring limit their (A1 and A2) usefulness. Might bring more for the parts if you're patient. The A3 with surge has solved one issue, brakes, and the height is not quite as bad. I have the Isuzu 19.5 duals that lowers to 30" and just stays under the 8'6". My last purchase was...
Wanting 2 plus a spare. Currently have (2) 24 bolt and GY Baha on it that I would like to match (but don't have to). Also looking for M105A3 wheels. Rochester, In.
We have a company that makes roll off containers using a lot of steel seconds but has hit a wall for orders (none). I have the idea of making a conversion for a 931 or 923 that looks like the bed of a 929 and is a complete unit that is ready to set on the frame, a lot like the existing bed...
What did you find when you dropped the pan and filter? Was there a gritty feeling to the fluid or little aluminum balls in the old fluid? The clutches in these tranny's, particular 4th/reverse have old seals that leak and won't hold pressure on the clutch, then the slippage causes heat and can...
Boneyard has a C6500 with a Cat 3116 and FS 5306A but not FSO 6406a (overdrive) Eaton-Fuller. So I will try to buy the flywheel, clutch, housing and continue search for the FSO (overdrive).
I'm bringing this up to see the current thoughts on going to a Spicer 3053 in my 4x4 M35A3 project for it's high final gear. All 4 brake cylinders are 1 1/2" on the 50/50 system, so brakes are not an issue. 395 GY rated to 65 mph. Anyone have low mile Spicer?
Thanks. It happened about the time I stopped in this thread, so has had some recovery. I refuse not to use it. Arthritis is bad. I did get the A3 on the axle as the above photo shows.
