We have property in the Pacific Northwest and I will be taking Deuce 2 out there so want to be able to start in the negative temp range. Deuce 1 has its flame heater deleted as it will live in Florida,
speaking of flame heater, I was sold this replacement spark plug with a different part...
More work on Deuce 2…
Replaced 6 fuel injectors, new copper washers and new rubber injector seals
Replaced fuel Injector return line to include all new fittings
Replaced primary fuel filter
Replaced fuel tank to primary filter head hose
Replaced hose from primary fuel filter head to injection...
Finally finished a large serving on Deuce 2 to include:
6 new inner hub seals
4 new outer axle seals
2 new front axle tube seals
6 new axle lock washers
6 new brake cylinders and associated banjo bolts, washers, etc.
All new rubber brake lines

I picked up a second Deuce, a 1971 Kaiser M35A2 WO/W from a member on this site a few months ago and have been slowly making my way through it.
So far I have:
Replaced the air governor
Replaced almost all injection pump fuel lines (1 more to go)
Greased all points in the LO (with the exception...
Oil change completed today! Going into 2023 caught up on the basic maintenance.
I’ve noticed my spin on oil filter closest to the cab always seems mostly dry when doing an oil change. Is this normal or common with the spin on filter kits?
I replaced all 3 spin-on fuel filters today. Last month I replaced both rear drivers side axle seals and did a minor break adjustment. Now my rear drum no longer runs hot.
During the past 2 weeks I’ve worked on sanding and painting my fuel tank mounts and straps as well as sourcing a NOS fuel tank and new in-tank fuel pump. I completed the install today after tapping 5 un-threaded fuel pump mounting holes. The tank also got a NOS fuel sender and a new fuel cap.
Replaced 2 fan belts this morning on my truck, after a nice test drive the low needle on the volt gauge is no longer low. The existing belts were at max adjustment; otherwise, I think a tightening would have got her back in the green.
Topped off brake fluid today after replacing brake light light switch. I also replaced a bad flasher module. Now I have brake lights and turn signals again!
I finished the morning off with an hour cruise...
In the process of replacing shocks, I wire brushed and painted the mounts so I’m on an extended break until the paint dries.
These mismatched shocks have seen better days…
I dont have a picture, but I have the primary kit a lot of other members use in this link:
Spin On Filter Kits
It's an adapter that screws into where the standard mounting bolt would hold on the filter can, and the spin on mounts onto that.
This weekend I replaced the 3 spin on fuel filters on my Deuce, the whole process was not too bad and luckily my in-tank pump is working so priming was a breeze.
