Well, a few weeks ago my M109 sold. The guy drove it 190 miles home. Other than the intake flame heater springing a leak before he even left my yard, he had no issues on the way home.
I'm trying to get my yard cleaned up to the point where I can finally get to work on swapping over my drop...
We have a "truck parts" shop called FleetPride. It was $18 there. Wasn't worth shopping online at that price. The elbow was a little spendy at $40. I could have gotten stainless elsewhere for close to the same.
As for the orientation of the flap, I have it not fully facing back, but...
Took a page out of RustyStud's book and redid my exhaust with an elbow, short section of flex, and a stack flap.
Trying to get the truck ready for a little show this weekend. Not sure if I'll make it.
There are a number of things to look for. Rough idle, excessive smoke, missing when accelerating.
Once you you are fairly certain that's your issue, you can check the temperature of the exhaust manifold right near the head with an infrared temp gun. Check each cylinder's exhaust before the...
Leaking injector is a possibility, but you'd probably notice the miss at idle.
Sounds like you need to come get this m109 so you can keep trucking while you figure that out :driver:
My grandfather had some rock blasted near his house a LONG time ago. He hired a buddy that just happened to be the best guy in the area.
His neighbor came over in a panic after hearing the first couple charges go off. He was absolutely convinced that his house would be damaged, despite being...
I have a similar crane that I'm hoping to eliminate the mounting foot and make a tube in the bed to receive it. I'd also like to put a mount on the front bumper for it so I can move things around with the truck and see what I'm doing.
Used it as a landmark. Had a guy come to buy my motorcycle. Gave him my address and said "you can't miss it, there's a big army truck in the front yard."
He was very happy with the bike, but his kid was ticked off that they left without the deuce.
I noticed that on my m35, the gauges are only illuminated by those little blackout lights. On my M109, the gauges are fully back lit.
Do I need to replace some bulbs, or upgrade my gauges?
Please share lots of pictures. My transmission has a bit of a roar at high speed and some day I assume I'll be tearing it down. Hopefully before total failure.
That reminds me, I need to figure out what's wrong with my turn signals on my m35. I suspect its just a bad blink box, but I need to do more trouble shooting first.
When you select a blinker, the green light comes on solid on the switch, and none of the lights activate outside the truck.
