The base of the fuel filter began to cause problems, air was entering and the Hulk did not want to start, I detected that it was because of the restriction switch hole and I got to work.
I disassembled the Wix filter, took out the filter base, checked all the joints and the restriction switch was leaking fuel, something logical since the car was 37 years old. After several attempts to start it started to leak fuel through the lower drain, so I ordered everything necessary and started with spin on conversion.
I used a manual wrench to bleed the air, a 90-degree copper elbow for the lift pump hose and a straight connector for the IP hose, I mounted a wix 33528 fuel filter, filled it with diesel, opened the valve To bleed the air, I moved the engine for 20 seconds, it wanted to start but couldn't, I closed the key to remove the air from the circuit, I turned the engine again and BOOOOOOM started faster than usual and with the same force
Soon I will upload some information about how I set up the IP, I rebuilt a generator which is failing again, and the rest of you, greetings and I hope you enjoy the cucv as much as I do
