    m35a3 wont start

Thanks for the suggestion. I put jumpers on each battery 1 at a time, but no luck. Tried the same using 2 jump boxes on both batteries at the same time and still no luck. I think batteries are good, bc I'm getting 25v to the Aux switch #11 wires. Here's what I'm seeing... -When I check power...

    m35a3 wont start

Thanks for the response. I checked the schematics, and I have the 4 wires hooked up correctly to the Aux switch. I'm getting correct voltage to the 2x power wires (11) on the Aux switch. I've tested the switch, and it appears to be getting proper voltage from ports A-B and C-D (B and D ports...

    m35a3 wont start

With new meter, each battery is measuring 12.8v and 25.6v together. I’m also getting 25.6v to both of the 11 plugs at the aux switch.

    m35a3 wont start

On my Aux switch (I tried 2 and got same results with both), when I have all 4 plugs hooked up (both 11s, 27-400 and 27) to the back, I only get a few gauges that move when I turn the switch on. When I unplug plug 27 but leave 27-400, all of the other guages respond (for example the Volt...

    m35a3 wont start

Power looks correct now that I'm using a new meter. Previous one was faulty.

    m35a3 wont start

Yes, I just did that, but no change. What I did notice is when i turn the aux switch to on, many of the gauges jump, but nothing happens with the Volt gauge. I do get headlights and movement on some of the gauges. In the past the volt gauge would move. I also noticed my headlights work when...

    m35a3 wont start

My m35a3 will no longer start, and I need some help from the group please. I’ve installed 2 new batteries and a new auxiliary switch. When I try to start, I just get a click at the starter relay.

Hydro boost leak - vent tube?

I never figured this one out. Still happens from time to time and I just make sure to keep the Dex at the appropriate fill level.

HOW TO: Tension V Belts on a HMMWV 6.2 Engine

Thank you. Mine had the slot in the spring tensioner instead of the alternator where I had been looking. Simple 1 man job. Thank you so much for your help.

HOW TO: Tension V Belts on a HMMWV 6.2 Engine

Thank you. Yes, I figured that out about the belt. I found it. Slot was in spring tensioner. Simple 1 man job. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes on this setup. Thank you all for the help!

HOW TO: Tension V Belts on a HMMWV 6.2 Engine

I just picked up a m1123. The serpentine belt was off of it when it arrived, so I just went to put a new belt on. I had the quick disconnect on the fan clutch, so quickly got the belt inserted and routed correctly. Now, it's time to get it over the final pull, but I can't locate a place for a...

    M35A3 Transmission Temp

Thank you Frank. Are you saying bypass the temp sending unit and just run a mechanical temp gauge?

    M35A3 Transmission Temp

Thanks Toby, great insight. Based on what you said above, if the 4th clutch was failing, would I also have issues with reverse? My reverse is strong, and I keep going back to a bad gauge since the infared thermometor has my trans pan at 165 when the gauge is showing 300. That said, maybe it's...

    M35A3 Transmission Temp

I don't know the history of my tranny, but appears to be stock with the truck. Oil doesn't smell burnt. It's Dex3 and I added it about 2 years ago (truck had Dex3 in it when I bought it). Would a failing 4th seal clutch problem create that heat and would that mean the 4th gear isn't engaging...
