Some wild comments here. Personally I wouldn't want to be anywhere in a HMMWV when a 55mph head on collision occurred. Without airbags there was 90% mortality rate with head on collisions.
Installed sun visors, rear view mirror, off road lights, USB plugs, interior lights, console w/ cup holders & cell phone mount, indoor/outdoor carpet in the bed.
Temporarily removed the rear cover.

The pulsing is the EESS going through the glow plug cycle. If it doesn't stop after about 30 seconds it may have a bad regulator circuit inside the EESS. Look under the dash at the EESS box and determine the manufacturer by the affixed label. Pray that's not it they run about $550.

I changed the dash lights on my M998A1 over to LEDs. I also put new light covers on to try and get the dash lights brighter. I thought I was ordering clear covers but they turned out to be the original green. I'm gonna figure something out.

I did it once maybe I got lucky.
I did notice when I picked up one of mine in Sa Marcos, TX the GP guy brought a 24v jump starter and a can of starting fluid. He used the jump starter on mine & it started right up.
