New 15.5x20 Michelins Beating The Crap Out of Me!

I put about 28 oz of Truegoo in each of my 395/85r20's. It seems to work pretty well and balances well at 60 mph. Am running 50lb of air. They have a kit to put it down the valve stem The rockcrawlers around here use it with good luck both for balancing and leak stop.

deuce pto to run a dump hoist

Boyce and Eastern Surplus had transmission dual ptos with a hydraulic pump on rear output. I think they have complete kits with hydraulic oil tank. The only duece tipper I have seen was set up that way. The transfercase pto is heavier duty but every setup I have seen has a gear and chain to...

    OD iron rim?

A Denver wheel builder told me that cdot told him if the rim has the correct DOT stamp for the load etc. you can put your own choice of centers in it. You are still liable for the built wheel.

Cold Start Switch on lower left dash

I generally worry more about burning up the starter and batteries. So I will give it just a little shot of ether right away if it is 10 or colder and its been sitting for a while. I have never seen any ether caused damage. Maybe Myth Busters has tried it.

Cold Start Switch on lower left dash

It looks like the flame heater on my ldt465-D had the wire pulled off an hooked up to the solenoid on the ether bottle. The data plate on the switch is still instructions for flame heater. Do the 250 cummins motors in the 818 trucks start easy in the cold?

Cold Start Switch on lower left dash

So even if it is still labled flame heater if you have the ether start kit, the flame heater is no longer connected??

How to fit 14.00r20's (and still have 6wd ;) )

What a great job! From your measurements I'm guessing you lenghtened the control arms 2.25 inches. Is that correct? I would like to do that so I have more room for chains on my 395/85r20's. What kind of steel did you use on the control arm extension? Also are those deuce combat rims or a3...

    M756A2 Pipeline Truck

Is there a way to tell if it has lockers without jacking it up and turning the wheels? Like a tag or stamp? I think there was a post talking about id'ing the lacker axles but I can't find it.
