    Temp Gauge Issue

    I was thinking of installing a temperature gauge so I can properly adjust some electric fans I plan to install in the future. Question: Is the normal operating temperature around 160 - 165 degrees? Why would you want the engine to be closer to 190 degrees? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    CUCV Wiper Challenge

    Does anyone know where I can get a replacement capacitor assembly for the windshield motor? I have a 1984 M1009. The wipers will stop randomly and I have to shake the capacitor assembly for the wipers to start again.

    That is what it is. I too was pondering the purpose of that wire when I removed the flooring to also check for rust, but found out what it was when looking through a wiring schematic.
