MEP 803a/802a Governor adjustment how do you do it??? TM mentions a gage

The dimentions are stamped on the unit. The 26.5 is mm. Each "step" is measured in mm. The thickness is 1cm. I will do the measurements today.

MEP 803a/802a Governor adjustment how do you do it??? TM mentions a gage

I have not forgotten. My life is upside down and mostly in disarray at the moment. I have the pictures uploaded, I just need to copy the links and for that I need my main computer which is still disconnected at this time. It is one of my projects today to get this done by putting together my...

I have the pictures taken and on the computer. I will have them up tomorrow unless the cant (did I spell that wrong?) makes my day **** like it has been for so many years. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Always thought I could survive anything......guess I have been proven wrong. I...

2011 Mep 803 wiring for house

.....and the unit remains connected to the house. We have members that use a 4 wire system that may be interrupted by several methods, unplugging the connection, usings various methods to interrupt the hot, hot, or hot, hot, neutral, or even hot, hot, neutral and ground. Each one of our...

2011 Mep 803 wiring for house

Potentially hot chassis if the generator or something else happens. In this instance, "hot" chassis referenced an ungrounded chassis that could become electrically charged due to a malfunction or even an external charging source.

2011 Mep 803 wiring for house

The NEC is like tax laws. A great portion of both are insane and contradictory from paragraph to paragraph. I understand the difference between what is described as a "separetly derived system". This is what I was taught, learned, read, and discussed with other engineers. I am not an...

2011 Mep 803 wiring for house

I do not think that this is correct. Although in your area, it may be. The entire purpose of "grounding" something is so YOU are not used as a circuit for electricity to flow through. You should always use a 4 wire connection to your house, hot, hot, neutral, and ground. Your panel is...

S-280 Shelter. How do I get Cellular/Radio Reception Inside?

That is a false assumption on lightning. It seeks out the least path of resistance regardless of whether you are in the woods or not. You have air to ground strikes, ground to air strikes, air to air strikes, and I am sure more as well.

    MEP-831A Inverters

I don't have one. Although I suspect and believe that DA hit it on the head. I have seen a lot of inverters die due to moisture invasion once the sealing has begun to break down. I have also seen these things go because of the caps degrading and no longer being able to do their jobs.

    MEP report post Hurricane Michael

I thought that looked familiar. These came into service just a couple of years before I retired and I remember seeing them on the flight-line.

    MEP report post Hurricane Michael

I use my Onan 4kw from the Motor Home. It is enough for lights, fans, and necessary appliances. For the pool pump even as I can control the speed thus limit the amperage draw. The salt based chlorine generator for the pool requires too much as does the spa and h2o heater and the AC and rest...

MEP-803a - Field Flash Grinding Noise

Did you use a known good meter for the measurements? I have found that an analog multimeter will show results differently than a digital meter. We are talking fractions of an ohm here to just a couple of ohms. Just enough to tickle the needle that is below the threshold of some mid to low end...

Are you looking for a complete altenator or just the parts causing problems?
