    That wouldn't help - it's a GL concern about liability of a private buyer driving a boneyard vehicle on post. Some GL people don't care, some really have a problem with it. There are other reasons why they don't like folks driving M35s around the DRMO lot. Ask FerroEquinologist all about it...

    Lucky indeed - most of us are unable to get permission to drive our used beat-up deuces off the GL lot to get them home, much less being able to drive a brand new HET around the lot! WE NEED VIDEO!

    Just curiousity - I ask about a lot of trucks I have no intention of buying. It helps me learn about the trucks, about the sellers/companies, and about the whole process that is done to these trucks during rebuild. After all, I don't want a job in Personnel Management the rest of my life...

    I'm just telling you what the Oshkosh person on eGay told me, that the entire truck had been rebuilt down to depot level. Truck was used, but rebuilt to like new specs. I wouldn't pay $72,000 for it, even if I had $72,000 sitting around.

    The price on the M911 was around $72,000 or so. It's high, but it has been rebuilt to like new condition. Try buying a new M911 for anything less than $250,000. At least, that's my reasoning.

    Mack also made a 10-ton cargo, only a couple hundred, in the 1950s, called the M125. BKubu had one a while back that was in MVM. Used to tow heavy 155mm, 175mm, and 8-inch arty pieces, prior to the mobile arty taking over. Used a LeRoi gas 8-cylinder engine. VERY big. Much more useful than...
