Crack the fuel line nut loose going into the top front of the head on drivers side and unscrew the knob on top of the fuel pump and start pumping till it starts pushing fuel out of that fitting ( it might take a while but it will eventually get there !
Just food for thought every time we mount something heavy on these trucks we should really be trying to keep as balanced as much as possible with us already being top heavy on a slope !
Looking good and when you can leave the tools in the truck and close the locked door behind ya it seems to all start falling in place and not so much up and down the stairs ! I should have built my box on the ground and when finished then set it up on the truck !
In my driveway my truck faces north the sun comes up on the drivers side then basically direct overhead but hangs longer on the west side of the truck till dark so if my panels would hinge on the passenger side and the motors lift the drivers side slightly after the sun starts falling to the...
So if ive got this rite when you park you will need to point the truck due north if the screw cyinders are mounted on the passenger side of the truck as to lift the panel to chase the sun to the west for more charging time each day ? I like it ! Would one of these cylinders mounted on each...
Keep your doors and windows open as much as possible for a while you dont want to wind up sic from the OSB off gasing like all the folks that used the fema trailers during the last big gulf hurricane ! Some websites say up to 2 years some say less just stay aware ! Keep up the good work it 's...
Im useing plastic tanks so i never thought about it for my truck but i ran across a block heater i bought a while back for the 3116 freeze plug hole and thought rite then if i ever build another with metal tanks i would definatly use them . in the bus's stainless tank we all used a little like a...
It just came to me while looking at the end of where the water tank will be in this pic to either this end or the other which looked like you will have some spare room you could put a screw in bung to mount a 12v or 110 block heater in the end of the tank to keep the water from freezing near all...
We used that idea briefly in the early 90s useing 30 gallon horizontal air compressor tanks and our coach air tanks but soon as the air was down and they take up so much room for no capacity ! Just a shurflo brand 12 v inline water pump won out over every thing we tried for economical and no...
That could be a dicey move unless you have some way to only let in a certain amount of pressure of water with so much different pressures from 1 water district to another and i wouldnt want my whole system being under a 100 psi round the clock for no reason ! Maybe plumb the tank with a trigger...
So i guess i just saw 1 port in the picture but you will fill there and when the tank is full it will push water out the overflow to the ground to show your full ?
That is dead on rite ! And hes working outside in the driveway like i had to with no help ! Give us a shop with a table saw set up like the pros use with huge table and spray booths for paint and glue and do upholstery table we would be rich lol
