Okay, I figured it was gonna be around $4-600 to plate it without restrictions. For fuel, yes, lots of wmo and until I run out, quite a bit of jet fuel. Been mixing 50/50 of jet fuel with wmo and it's been running really good. Once the jet fuel is gone I'll probably be doing 60/40 wmo/diesel mix...
So for plates, I'll know by 7/1/20 when I go to SOS, but for insurance, I got full coverage through West Michigan Insurance/Hagerty for $457 per year. Pretty for leisure and not daily driving, but they know I'll be doing around 200 miles a month. Not bad considering my Dakota is $900 something...

Hey bud, another Michigander here...I had a Deuce about 9 years ago or so that I bought from a surplus dealer in Claire. At the time, I just put logging truck plates on it and insurance was stupid cheap, even having the stupid expensive no fault insurance MI had. I don't know of the restrictions...
