Going to add this to this thread. Member Ponway brought this up to me about his shifter. It is the 2 step modification that allows the shifter to jump 2 gears all the way to 16th without using the shifter interlock. Pretty simple. Took about 15mins. Also makes for a good time to spray lube...
The problem is that the 915 book is half retarded and parts are pages over from where they should be. page 532 shows that section of the engine but the actual splined spacer that bolts TO the flywheel on the engine side is on page 170 of the transmission TM. So there is no telling if it has one...
Anyone kind enough to give me a spacer ring measurement? From engine bellhousing to the 7155. I assume it has one since the Allison does and the face of it looks like it does have to have one.
