Well I think they will be under the 10A trip if they just want to power a fridge. Aren't they wonderful? Worth their weight when you need one, especially for an extended outage.

Your genset only puts out 6.25KVA... only so unloaded it can become. If they just want to keep the fridge and freezers cold, it will be minimal draw... not enough to really worry about overloading one leg or the other... especially since you aren't running it this way weeks on end. ACs are a...

Well you are limited to 10A through the convenience outlet, so they have to be aware of that. A perfect device for just such an occasion is called a spider box. https://www.toolup.com/CEP-6532UGMX-Mini-X-Treme-Box-30A-UG-Temporary-Power-Distribution-8-Outlet You could just lop the connector...

So the switch is doing what its supposed to... You are going to want to take the roof off the operator cube and look at the contactor assy for loose collections, corrosion, etc. Its a known problem spot, but typically can be disassembled, deoxidezed, and made to work again (unless waters gotten in).

The case is for sound attenuation. If you mock up a radiator support and want to retain all electronics... just a matter of fabricating up an area to house these items. Is your enclosure in that bad of shape?

Well you can either find shorter J hooks, use a universal bolt down battery holder, or find some length of threaded rod and put a washer and lock nut on the side sticking out of the J hook cutout, and cut to length to use with the stock brackets at the back edge of the battery. Few ways to skin...

There are three basic manuals for the complete genset, ending -10, -24, and -24P. Do you know the use of each? Just this key detail will greatly aid in answering any question you might have... where to look first.

The fan blade can make a fun dance party out of fuel too...

I may have mistakenly gotten frisky with the fuel distribution tube off the fuel filter, zipping the crimps off the metering pump fuel lines with a dremel... but thats a me problem, not a factory failure. :cautious: If you want do save yourself the hassle down the road, just swap all the...

My boring OD box is currently on my list with small repairs, half apart in my garage.

Welcome. I would flush the coolant system and fill it up and check for leaks. Plan on fuel line leaks, fuel tank leak, and general shenanigans... anything better than that you are ahead of the curve. 802 books -...
