Ive had no issues getting multitudes of bird droppings off with just normal water a d car wash soap and even pine sap off using automotive sap remover. I had a cv boot go and spray grease all over including onto areas painted and it too came off with a few rounds of detergent.

Thats an approach I never thought of. I have a M1102 cover that could benefit from that approach. Its 90% together but has tons of little gaps or holes scattered across it.
Terra1936 I'll add my experience with tops and doors. I thinned the behr with denatured alcohol to allow it to spray thin coats out of my cheap automotive style spray gun. I did three thin coats a few hours apart and its held up really well over two years of constant use and wind flapping etc...
