    . Wow. What a difference it made - cleaning up the TC. Looks like Willow was worn out. From all that helping :) The parts look pretty good. I would look closely at the chain - making sure it wasn't stretched with the washer flying around inside.

    . Stick your siphon tube in the tank. Shove it all the way down to the bottom - since fuel floats on water - and pull a gallon or so then pour some into a glass jar. Let it sit overnight and it should separate back to water on one level and fuel on the other. Might want to be extra careful...

    . It is always difficult to hunt and fix ignorance. That is the most frustrating part of buying a new-to-you vehicle. You are required to find all the "half-ast" fixes from the PO... Sounds like you have made good progress so far. And having buddies that can be standing around to look for...
