I just put Dri-Dek in mine, and open them up after driving in the rain. But I store my truck inside so I don't know how great that would work outside. http://www.dri-dek.com/
I did a block heater and coolant filter at the same time on my 923A2.

I took my bows and tarp off with my pulley/lift system, but somehow angered my CTIS in the process. I'll have to trouble shoot it more later, but right now it seems to be opening the front axle exhaust valve while it's trying to fill to HWY for some reason. The air goes out faster than it can go...
Today, I found out I left the battery switch on last time I drove my truck. :(
Despite all assurances I could charge my batteries hooked together using a 12v charger as long as I hooked it to a single battery, 2 of my batteries were too dead and "flopped" polarity. At least that is what my...
This thread has the parts for coolant filters in it. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?131589-Adding-a-block-heater-and-coolant-filter-on-6CTA-8-3&highlight=
Replaced my broken wheel valve today, and the hose that goes to the axle too. It was frustrating but mostly because I didn't park the truck next to the tools and seemed like I took fifty trips to the tool box for a simple job.
Fit was perfect on the pipe, it seated fully with my soft top, but you might have to leave it a touch high with a hard top because it's bigger in diameter than stock. The finish was good, too. It was black, which would have been fine. The base and clear bowl are plastic, the top is metal. Both...
I painted and mounted my air prefilter that I had ordered before. I didn't have any time for a test drive, but there is no doubt it will flow more air than the little mushroom that was nearly Carc'ed shut. I took a photo of my Filterminder before I reset it, so I can compare the results.
What a coincidence, I JUST ordered a precleaner for my A2. I went with the heavy equipment style, http://www.amazon.com/CATERPILLAR-1306859-PRECLEANER-ASSEMBLY-INTAKE/dp/B00QU62272/ref=sr_1_26?ie=UTF8&qid=1426517819&sr=8-26&keywords=precleaner+5%22 but I like the looks of that ram one.
How...
This is the one I got: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I did reuse the tamperproof torx that came with the other handles, and for the driver's side I had to take the handle apart and grind the little stop out to make it spin the right way.
I bought some locking door handles for my A2 when I got it, they were garbage. After getting locked out of my own truck, I took them off and replaced them with much cheaper and higher quality "locking square shank L handles" that actually work. I had to cut the shank to fit lengthwise, but that...
Today I did a couple little things. I put a block heater in my 923A2 a while back, and I wanted the plug easier to get to. I bought a Marinco plug pass-through and mounted it on the hood. It seals up nicely. Even though the back side is basically exposed, I wanted something that would keep the...
I did the mock up for the 14" OPT7 light I got for xmas. Still waiting on the wiring harness and a I ordered a few different fasteners to standardize everything, but I think it's going to work well.
I put in a Haldex Air Dryer from Those Military Guys, and flipped the lunette on my newly acquired M105 to 5 ton height. The trailer work was much more difficult than the air dryer.
Took it out for a little test drive and exercised my transfer case and front axle since I haven't ever used them...
That's cool Swamp Donkey, I'm doing the same on my 923A2 on Friday, a coolant filter and the frost plug heater. Today all I did was make a glad hand to air hose adapter, in case I want to chase leaks or fill a tire off the trucks air system.
I did three things today, got my title and plates from the DOT, built and installed a licence plate bracket/light, and fixed the leak on my rear axle. I built the license plate bracket to use the existing bolts on the bumper, and used a 24v LED light. I ordered a pre-made license plate light kit...
I'm installing new lockable door handles in my M923A2 today, and ordering a few other little things like some rubber cord to secure the soft top. I tried to use what was there, and it broke again.
