Well today a buddy of mine and I changed all 8 glow plugs.... all 8 old ones were bad reading 0/inf on the ohm meter. Not a one of them gave us trouble getting them out. Replaced with AC DELCO 60G. Started right up. Also trouble shooted a ground issue with the front marking lights. The Fuel...
Well today I had to replace my heater core. The lower pipe snapped off leaking inside and out.... that was a fun adventure.... Oil cooler lines are next. [emoji19] [emoji373] [emoji2]
Well today I changed the rear U-Joint... That was fun. Luckily when it went it's didn't completely go. I was about 4 miles from home. I put it in 4WD and made to my garage. I bought a heavy duty U-Joint and took about an hour. So much better now. Looks like I will be replacing the E-break cables...
This is an excellent alternative to installing a radio and speakess. I love mine. Mounted it just above the radio plate mount on the dash. That way I can listen to Spotify or pandora. Or blue tooth phone calls. [emoji1] [emoji106]
Well tonight I bypassed the blower switch with a regular on off switch until I get a new one ordered from LMC. Also tinted the back window. Going to tint the tow back side windows next. (5%) Put all new weather seals where there cap meets the body. Greased the window regulator.
It should, but it is not charging a higher voltage (reads 13.4, used to read 14.7) the volt meter on the dash is just barley in the green. But the Gen 1 light is now off so that is good too.

Well got the alternator in. But the pulley on the new one was a 1/4 smaller than the old one. Couldn't get the old one off so I ended up drilling out the mount to offset the tension on the belt. Pain in the ass... but hey its a MV so why would it be easy... lol
The only saw I had was a sawsall (riciporcating saw) so it was hard to make precise cuts. I had to stencil out a piece of sheet metal and tac weld in place then grind the welds to smooth the surfaces of the weld. I then coated the fender well with herculiner. The red paint you see in the picture...
