What did you do to your deuce this week?

I fired it up and let it run for a bit to get the juices flowing, speaking of which my oil pressure didn't jump staight up with the spin on filter swap like I have heard, it's only slightly quicker . I made a vid of my grandson doing crazy 2 yo stuff while the truck ran in the background .

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Saw no reason for the stock configuration to leak, yet they did, not anymore Edit: in hindsight I do not at all care for the shiny aluminum parts on my engine, wish I had painted it first and I shall still, with a little brush, maybe filters too with a spray can 😎

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I opened the door and saw a little water on the transmission hump, realized there must be a hole in the roof, went up and sealed it with a dab of silicone . That's what I did last week . Here's what I'm going to be doing, but I don't know what week it will be preferably a warmer week . After...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

@pitpawten Those are some good looking tires Btw, when you do your brake job try just putting a spray nozzle on a hose and using water to do your cleaning before you use the brake clean, you might be surprised how well it works .

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I changed the oil in my manual steering box in my 1963 Studebaker M50, (M35A2 with a water tank) in hindsight it didnt appear to need it, upon refilling I had to cock the funnel to one side to allow filling, making me wonder how/if these vent ?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What did I do to my deuce this week ? Well I fired it up, let it run for a spell then took it out onto the road and opened all the low drain points and let the water out for the season, as it's getting considerably cooler up here these days . I drove it around for about 20 min or so and let...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hopefully you meant 5' . I should add of course that this is a 2 person operation with a man at each helm, and the ends of the chain need to be clevis or bolt bound as the hooks obviously would just come undone, I have made due before with getting the hooks tight and zip tying back a link to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Put the chain thru a piece of pipe and it will tow and not run into you, old loggers trick, I towed my 211 home that way .

Oh indeed it will get fenders, new ones are crazy expensive so I will be hammering out a set of big rig semi truck fenders I have lying around that are kind of rough at the moment, and hide them with green or black paint .

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got in about 45 min of painting last night in the wind and cold, but the raindrops held off, hit it again for a bit this sunny warm AM, love getting that hideous lime yellow covered up, fully digging this old original color of Korea/Vietnam era paint, it will look pretty good when I'm done for...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just junk I've accumulated over the years for the water trucks, I have more stuff lying around than any normal person would need/want, and I'm not even done yet ... Huh, that's an interesting set up you have there . The front steer axle drums are held on with the lugs, the rear drivers are...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

M50 Water Tender Finally got around to fixing the brakes on the 63 Studebaker . This brake is the reason I own this truck, it failed on previous owner and rolled backwards off the road, down an embankment and crashed into some trees, he didn't want to repair the truck so I bought it . The...
