    Today I learned that by holding the locking mechanism up, the rhino carrier will swing past 90 degrees and allow the tailgate to fully open! Glad I checked here. Thanks, guys!

    Today I installed a long awaited tailgate only to discover it was all for nothing since it will not fully open when paired with the rhino spare tire carrier. (Sigh)
