After this years rally been fighting ultra slow tire leaks ever since. Got bits of wood stuck between the bead and rim. May have to completely separate the tire bead and do a thorough cleaning on the two front tires. Got something radical planned for the next rally stay tuned :-)

Bucket Hydralic hose shut off valves Found out the hard way why there are ball valves on the bucket hydraulic hoses. There are push pins shut off valves inside the nipple if there is pressure there you can't make the connection. The pin won't push in. You have to take the nipple off to relive...

In my humble opinion I would not try to drive down the road without the bucket but with the back hoe. Very unbalanced. The best configuration is with both removed. But how would you trailer the back hoe assembly? If it topples over when removed you are in deep poo-poo.

that what I do to. Swing all the way to the right side of the vehicle then lift the outrigger on the right side to push the arm into locking position.

Obviously you are the MOG guy. Very impressive motor pool. But I'm not quite following what you mean. There is a 4x4 support sitting on some bricks going to the bottom of square box where the jacking device would go. Are you concerned that the support could be knocked out when backing away or...

It appears it is in an abandoned repair. The back hoe might be up to clear cab tilting. Also noticed the Fops is missing. If you had some sort of boom IE M936/ civi towtruck you could support it pull the hydraulic cylinder pin and lower it. Would be Leary transporting it like that. You will...

Here is where the braket attaches in our application. Position 1 is where the bracket mounts to the truck. Notice the holes are threaded. Position 2 is where the round rod goes thru on the cab. The Idea is to raise the cab a couple of inches so it pivots around the bucket mount round thingies...

You can't pick your nose with that thing with out tilting the cab, pretty much. I don't know how much "in frame" stuff you can do not a lot I guess. Did you get a chance to check the oil pressure when it was running? There is a message in that the sound goes away when it warms up not sure...

The good news is the engine is Mercedes standard medium duty truck engine. The least exotic of everything on the vehicle. Been around for years. Unless proven otherwise the price should reflect engine replacement or removal repair. Does it have the hydraulic tools? Chan saw, pavement breaker...

The channel is C8X11.5 or 2-1/4X8X30-1/2. The original bolts are just long enough for full thread coverage with out any lock or flat washers. The slots are to clear the gussets. Notice the right slot is deeper than the left. The assembly needs to be installed at an angle and slipped to the right...
