Does it work good? I noticed it is a 4k RPM.

Today I converted it from a 2 door pickup to a NOS 4 man top from GMA. Definitely like the looks of it better with the 4 doors. Now I just need to track down rear seat bases and cushions.

Decided to start working on the M1151A1. Replaced the fluids on the hubs and differentials. Had to clean the RF geared hub due to acumulated sand ( it came drained and no plugs) and also opened the rear differential as there was no drain plug present. Rear diff was clean. Installed new rims and the tires i had in my truck with 90% tread. Planning to remove the emgine and install a working one in the next couple of weeks.

Seems to be ok so far, have not seen it go above 3k. and it has a bonus Hr meter on it also.

Swapped my M1123 front springs from 954 lb to 1728 lb,
I can’t stand those 954s
100 lb brush guard made them sag.

I have snow plow springs on my HMC4 hummer, I love the sharp handling.

I got the repurposed transceiver switch connector done. Nothing exciting.

replacing front springs doesn’t require jack stand, in fact it’s the opposite, you need to be able to raise and lower the vehicle and one end of the control arm,
No need to open the hood or lay under the vehicle,
17 minutes to take a spring out
30 min to put it back,
All done form the side of the vehicle and the comfort of sitting on a upside down milk crate

Humvee initiation rites began today. Geared hub reseals and new ball joints, tie rods, etc.

Also got my supplemental ground harness today too.
