I live next to a creek & wetlands that flood periodically. The kids named the truck Swamp Thing. My Chevy 3500 Service truck that is getting camo'd right now is called Son Of Swamp Thing.(think of it as a gas CUCV II).

Mine is not Officially Named, but is (sort of) by default.

I put a cartoon character on each side of the truck, so now the truck is sometimes referred to by that character's name.

I haven't come up with anything better yet, and what my wife calls the truck would get me in trouble if I painted it on the truck.

So I picked up a nice M923A1 re-build. I am feeling pretty good, satisfied with my "new" rig. Watching TV one night and thought I wanna name this truck. What should I call the old girl? Than I see a commercial for the movie WarHorse. I said that's it! Of course why wife was like who are you talking too? Nevermind, you wouldn't understand.
