M275 Deuce Rescue from Doom

Last week in the "auction wins" thread I reported snagging this 1960 White M275A1 tractor from the GSA Texas Forest Service auction. I had to bid against the scrapper, so the winning bid was scrap price. Well I towed it home and spent a couple days de-brush trucking it and cleaning it up. Today I threw some batteries in it and alas, it runs, drives and stops! I bought this to save and flip to one of you guys, but now (as usual) I am getting attached to it.

Bottom line: Sometimes these brush trucks are diamonds in the rough. Ya'll need to give them a second look!

The bed was from a M135 GMC, installed backwards. Right before the bed went to scrap, I noticed the step down platform was made out of the original 275 rear catwalk. It was too butchered to save, plus I have a catwalk already painted and ready to install.

Apparently some people using iphone 5's are able to do it direct from the phone's browser. Otherwise, tapatalk works just fine.

Today: 5 gallons of Delo 400 and filters, 2 hours of weld residue grinding, and a quick coat of 24087 on the bumper.

Will you be restoring this beauty back to its original tractor configuration? I see it's missing some parts.
The 5th wheel and spacers can be used off of an m818, but the original walking plate and air stand might be hard to find but shouldn't be hard to fabricate, the ramp end pieces (top back end of the frame) are missing also.

I have all the original pieces ready to bolt on except I can't find the ramp. It's buried somewhere in my mess. I removed the parts from a canibalized M275A2 many years ago.

As far as restoration, this one will be getting the "motor pool" treatment, i.e. no frame-off restoration with sandblasting, etc. It is just too clean. Can't decide whether to do 383 CARC or 24087 colors though.
