Title-Yes, but sketchy, kind of like a title for an off-road vehicle.
Registration-Maybe
Plates-Between $350 up to $1450 a year. Depending on how they feel at the SOS. (If you can convince them it is "farm" use and not "non-commercial/commercial" good luck....)
Legal-My county weighmaster told me that he would have it taken off the road as not safe for farm/commercial use. I took him the documentation and my BOS. Personal friend for 20 years.
Scrap Value-$2k to $3k for engine, $1400 to $1600 for truck.
Worth the trouble? Up to you if you want a REALLY expensive off-road toy that will get you in trouble with the USFS/DNR in Michigan. "Tread Lightly Program" limits ORV's to 50 inches in width or less.
Ultimately, a 5 ton is a parade vehicle that will sit and collect mice all winter in your pole barn. They look nice though.......
