SARCO had most all the parts to build a dummy M2. They even had un-useable parts that could be welded back for a dummy gun. It will still be expensive, I think I'd go for the cast resin replicas to save money.

I agree with Crazy, the M2HB commands respect. The MK-19 is sweet too, but I like the fifty!

SARCO is out of some of the main parts you need to build a M2.. But I found someone else than might have something cooking in January.

I have a resin M2 on my M715 that I got off ebay. The guy puts them up every so often. I got it really cheap and it looks nice when mounted. Nobody ever notices that it's resin until I tell them.

Did you get the resin gun from Jon Shoop? I know he makes them and they are amazingly accurate right down to the machinig marks.

Or, go for a real one... Yes, large NV mounted to it. Yes, that's a thirty sticking out the front passenger window. Yes the fifty is real. A hoot to shoot, as the truck inches back. Mel used to have TWIN FIFTIES on the rear, but it kept pulling up on the mount, so he stepped down a little.

A resin replica showed up a while back with no bids, and a buy it now price of like only $180 or somthing, iI shoulda jumped all over that one, but we hadn't even begun to restore the M35 at that point

Guys:

There's a place up in Spooner, Wisconsin that makes and sells the resin guns. All type's too and very reasonable prices. I think a Thompson goes for $150.00 and a 45 for $50.00. The guy's name is Kevin Kronlund and he also sells returned WW II trucks. He's at www.armycarsusa.com . Oh, the Ma Deuce goes for $325.00.

Yes that is a live .30 out the front. Ask him why I'll never ride in the passenger seat into town again :)
