I might look for them, if I have a bit of spare time. What have you done to try and find them, so I do not reinvent the wheel, so to say.

I looked through C-1 (Repair parts and special tools list) of the manual and couldn't even pin down the part numbers... but went through again and found that the whole stud (with hardware) is part 11, NSN 5940-00-234-3383. But from there.... Web searches feel like they're in spam-land, nothing appears in stock (even supposing the websites are legit, and I don't have experience in this realm), and there's nothing on EBay.

I could rig something together with COTS parts but I like the original setup and would like to match it!

This load terminal/ground stud has been used on Army generating since the early 70's. I know that Cummins sells it. I will try and look in the morning for another supplier. There are about 4-6 part numbers if I remember right.

Thanks for the specs and whatnot for the nuts. Unfortunately the only place that returned my RFQ for 3 nuts came in at $100 each.

Oof.

Probably gonna contact McMaster Carr and see what the thread is on some of these.

Indeed! That's just what we did. Ordered new hardware and just took the nut off. The only time we replaced a load terminal was when the threads were stripped. At that price, you could order on, just to see if it works.

If its just the hardware... maybe you just buy something like this and steal what you need:

Edit: Just providing ideas... not sure this is a direct cross for the parts you need.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I skipped McMaster though.... I ordered some Gardner Bender "split bolt connectors" on Amazon. The GSBC-4 connector nuts are sliiiiiightly too small. I've ordered some GSBC-3's and GSBC-2's - will see if we luck out on the threads and the thickness of the slot. I don't have high hopes really.

None of the Gardner Bender split bolt connectors have a compatible nut.

This is all great info. Thank you, guys.
I am having a problem with my 831A. The engine is running well. However, it will only charge the lugs in when I activate (Battle Short) and then close the interrupter. If I start the unit and try to set the interrupter without the Battle short on, the lugs will not charge.
Any ideas?
