Florida Guys - Who is up for a mid September Ride?

Hey Everyone,

I know you guys had a great time at the June Mini-Rally, everyone seemed to want to do it again. I don't want to get too close to the Georgia Rally since everyone from Florida seems to be going, so I figured I'd get a thread going.

I am shooting for either the second weekend (10,11,12) or the third weekend (17,18,19). It will probably be a day ride (Call it all day Saturday), or we can do a longer thing if you want. Post up what you think!

I'm open to suggestions on location, if nobody can do better than Richloam, that is where it will be, lol. We still have weeks worth of trails we haven't been down.

If people want to wait until it cools down a little (ie after the GA rally), that would be fine with me! It was WAY too hot today!

Hey guys,
The pinz is up for anything but I think beginning of Novenber would be less comparable to the ambient temperature of Hades. Something to keep in mind is that Richloam will be in the swing of hunting season (Second week in November is usually open to modern gun).

Looks like hunting starts on the 13th (Saturday) of November.

If we were to do a ride BEFORE hunting season, we'd be looking at the weekend of November 5/6/7. That is two full weeks after the GA Rally.

So we have a few options.

1.) Before Hunting Season Richloam
2.) During Hunting Season Richloam
3.) Other Location Mid November.

Lets hear those thoughts!

Richloam sounds good to me and the only difference between during hunting season or not is whether there is a visible weapon in the pinz or not.

Your talking about not pissing off hunters. Or is it me that cant get along with them? I dont really remember, I was too busy celebrating.
Either way you had better take more pics this year, I have been having withdraws for way too long, and I really miss the Fl swamps. Theres nothing quite liks having to swim past a aligator to get to your truck.

Oh NOW Vinny wants to contribute! Seems the consensus was everyone is holding out for the GA rally, and then we'll set up something later in November when the weather is real nice like here!

Jack I think you got the right timing! couple weeks after the ga rally and it will be COOLER out! lets make it happen, remember more than nine trucks and we have to get a convoy permit which is free, just has to be done in advance, or there is **** to pay if caught!
