Scott, I'm not sure if I'm taking the deuce or not. We definitely should meet up if we are there the same day. I haven't installed the cab plate yet that you sold me, maybe I will get to it this summer.

I can't wait for this show! I am looking forward to meeting many of you. You have all been very friendly and helpful. What kind of accommodations are available at this show? I hope to be able to make all three days with a large stack of cash. The large stack of cash probably won't happen. In looking at the past years pictures I did not see any modified vehicles. Are they welcome there?

They have no problems with modified vehicles that I have ever seen or heard. There are many modified trucks each year.
You can contact them through there website and they will send you a packet. You can pick from inside and outside spots to sell things and camp on. You might want to reserve it soon.

About how many vehicles are for sale at the Findlay show usually? I'm looking at picking up a m1008/28 and having a hard time finding any local (Cleveland OH)

I will! I have had stuff strung all over the country for to long this year. Fate has dealt me a crap hand this year. I hope to have it taken care of by May!
If everyone shows up with my stuff I will need a 40 gooseneck to get it all home ! auaaua

I'll be taking a truck down, not necessarily for display, so I can help haul stuff and tow a trailer back if need be.

Most of the vehicles I remember seeing for sale were pretty pricey stuff like BEEP's and a M715, WWII CCKW, mules, Harley Davison WWII vintage and so on.. But I would post a add for what you are looking for on here. I bet a fellow Steel Soldier that has it for sale would bring it to the show if he is close to Findlay. Just a thought

I would like to convoy with you if possible. We can talk at the MIMVPA meeting or just PM me with your details. I might be driving my M1028 all the way down. Its all I have right now that will haul them darn lights plus is military. We will see what May brings.

CS, kidnap Rod and bring him along for the show. I bet he needs an excuse to get out, after winter.

OK - silly question.........been in the mv world for quite a while but I have never been to the Findlay show. I know that it is probably in May, but I'm having trouble finding a website for it to check out the dates to see if I can possibly make it this year. Sooooooo........(get ready for the silly) when is it. (I can hear the laughing already - head low, maybe they won't see me.....).

Thanks, Scott

I thought that was just to order a "packet" - should have just checked it to see.

Appreciate it - now to see if there is the time.

A convoy from Michigan might be cool.

Always a little peace of mind in a group.

Have not done a long distance convoy in quite some time. How fast is everyone typically trying to travel. I know some of these old girls don't scoot very fast! I got pulled over in the Battle Creek, Mi area last summer by the boys in blue as I pulled home a military trailer with my dually. I WAS GOING TOO SLOW!. The trailer only wanted to let me go about 45 before it wanted to dance (wagon steering, deflated air springs). He was cool - just wondering.

Thanks, Dave

Was thinking the same thing. I'll probably drive my contact maintenance truck and drag along my M101A2 just for fun.

Holy Crap!! Maybe eveyone can list what they have for Lane, I'll drive him down there, he can rent a massive U-Haul, or three, and bring it all back.

From what I hear if everyone brought Lane's stuff to Findlay it would look like The Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour. About 40-50 semis worth.

:)

Just kidding but if you want I can probably get the stuff up there.

Oh NO! Here we go lets beat up Lane time! I can say this it sucks having this disease and living so far from the bases!
Stretch that would be great if you could bring the hoists for me I will plan on bringing Speddmons lights in my M1028 with a M101A2 trailer to sleep in and haul some of my stuff home. We will need a wrecker to unload his light kits anyway or 4 guys stronger than me.
To whoever asked I only push my M1028 around 55MPH so convoying is good if we can get it organized. I shoot down I-75 to US 23 to I-75 to Findlay.
We need to get Mangus or Chris to send us a Steel Soldiers Flag so we can congregate like bees.
Lane
