full size from avatar thumbnail

Sometimes, people have very intriguing avatars or interesting vehicles in the avatar, but you just can't make out that little detail you would like to see. Is there a way to see an avatar in bigger size?

Or maybe have a clickable avatar in our public profile that gives it full size like a normal photo?

That is a good question, I haven't found a way to do so yet, but we should be able to, as avatars can be very interesting, or that pic is one never posted in a thread...

vBulletin by default reduces the file size of an avatar. So there's not really a means of doing that. Unless you recoded a lot of the php and changed the avatar image settings to resize via php to display. You'd take a performance hit on that though from the server level.

The easiest way to see an enlarged avatar is to simply PM the Member and ASK for a larger copy to be sent to you or posted elsewhere.

You'd be suprised what the personal contact will do for building friendships and espirit d'corps.

So why is there a option to e-mail pages you are viewing . And when you post pictures here they become property of the site and not the person who posted them .

For example, the avatar of Citizensoldier.Can't make heads nor tails from it, but it almost looks like something indecent is going on between a truck, a chopper, and something else in the middle. makes you wonder.
