But I like my air wipers (easily adjustable speed) and the lack of power steering keeps the weaklings at bay.

I guess. Personally, I just don't drive my deuce if it's raining.

Power steering and the nicer radial tires are the two big advantages to an A3 over the A2, imo.

If you don't care about MF capability, then the more powerful (and probably more durable) Cat engine is also an obvious plus.

A3 definateley front end does look a little strange at first but i would choose an A3 over an A2 no.1 newer because of rebuild, no.2 quieter because of insulation and flooring, no.3 CAT diesel engine, no.4 overal nicer truck persoanlly

All you people crying about power steering are a bunch of wusses, my wife is 5'6" 125 lbs and I'm not the only one who would agree she could out drive 90% of you off-road! And if you don't believe me, come to the next GA rally!

Ok ok ok so maybe i push the power steering a little much but i do enjoy it. why does everybody dislike the front of the A3 deuces I like it it is different, the only thing i don't like is how the front of the hood is higher besides that i like the front end. I also heard some one talking about the CTIS system leaks and i have heard lots of problems with them but nothing that you couldn't fix might cost you some money but it can be done. the seats in the A3's are also very comfortable compared to the A2 seats. the shoulder seat belts are very nice, really wish i could find a kit to install them in the A3's I would put a set in my M813A1.

Didn't say they were not, they are just not as reliable as an AK.
Um... that's kind of a meaningless statement considering there's a million different AK types out there made by a million different manufacturers... and ditto for the AR.

A modern AR made by a reputable mfger? I'd absolutely test it against an old soviet-bloc AK for reliability.

Heck, my old JT doublestar ran like a champ even when extremely dirty so long as I kept it lubed.

And yes, these discussions are awesome.

I have both an AK and an AR.....I will however never own a M35A3 for the simple matter of that yaller engine in it.

Let me repeat what I have opined in several threads concerning A3's......A CAT is a very reliable engine until it breaks.....when it does (and it will eventually) unless your uncle owns a CAT dealership you are going to put out some serious money on parts.

I have driven commercial trucks with Cummins, Detroit (60 series and the 2 strokes) and CATs.
A CAT will keep you in the poor house if you have a bad one........from input from other members that use the same engine in commercial vehicles I have heard the same thing.

Losing the multi-fuel capability alone is enough reason for me to stay away from them.

I do like the way they ride and the creature comforts but any A2 can get those upgrades by a judicious application of money.

I don't why there is such a big deal.

I like 9mm or .45 and have both.
I like the AR and AKs and have both.
I like the A2 and A3s and have driven both but only have the A2 (for now).

As for football, if those are the only two choices it's Green Bay of course.

And my carry is a Glock 17 with a Glock 20 backup and a Taurus 92AF tertiary.

My AK jammed once. I wasn't supervising a friend well enough and he loaded a .223 round into the mag. It chambered and fired, but it did jam afterward. I attached a pic of the brass that swelled up to the 7.62x39mm chamber.

I went with an A2. I've been driving automatics all my life and I wanted to challenge myself with something different and the multifuel engine fascinated me. To each their own.
