Yeah, not being a smartass. Appricate the insight. But my 39 year old ex military didn’t come with a manual. And I haven’t found anything online besides pictures of the front side of the bracket. I’d like to see if it requires a spacer whether it be a manual or pictures of someone else’s truck...
I had taken my cylinder head off of the truck. Installed headstuds. Now when I bolt my alternator bracket/ power steering pump on they’re way off. Was wondering how they’re supposed to be bolted on & where the spacers go (if it has one & if if does anyone have some spares I don’t remember...
I’ve thought about the 12volt conversion route, but it really serves me no purpose but the 24volt system does, the truck has a Updated sound system with 8 speakers, touch screen headunit, & two 12” subwoofers. The 24volt system removes the need to install a capacitor being it supports the audio...
Much appreciated, so it’s as simple as running an ignition wire & bypassing the light while making sure it has the correct ohms. Considering I’ll be completely switching gauge clusters to an aftermarket style. Thanks again.
Could you possibly show me what resistor I would need to buy, & where to install it in the harness? You’re a huge help here lol I was very dead in the water thanks.
I’m aware, they complete the charging system and if they’re not working the batteries will not charge, I would like to completely remove the dummy lights & switch the cluster out to something more modern with LED lights, does anyone have the original m1008 CUCV alternator dummy light wiring...

I bought a new re-man 1996 4l80E so it should have the correct wiring harness. But main question and area of grayness for me is, the torque converter to flex plate & gear selector linkages I’m gonna convert the linkage to a cable shift. (Should work?) & the converter I was wondering if a 6...
Does anyone know if a early 4l80E 6 bolt torque converter will bolt to a j code 6.2 flywheel, I’m aware of everything else I need to make it shift correctly behind a mechanical diesel, but unsure about the linkages, any info, maybe one from a 1991 sqaurebody?
Looking to put a new set of front fenders, & drivers door on the truck. Due to dents that aren’t the easiest to get out, so I’ll have to repaint the whole truck, it has the correct markings on it still, is there any sort of stencil for the 24v, tp45/tp65, “diesel fuel only” on the fuel door? &...
For some reason my alternator bracket is sitting cock eyed aswell as the powersteering there’s a large gap between the back of the bracket and support for the bracket at the bottom aswell wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction as to if I’m missing a spacer or if something’s...
