well..... that answers that question.... the top half of my hitch looks exactly like that, the bottom isnt that kind of hook, its a ball hitch, maybe a civilian class 3 hitch???. looks like the PO changed it. ill just have to put a smaller ball on it so the upper latch will close all the way.

OK, so ill be testing my CDR valve today to make sure i really need one... but from the oil cloud on startup, the leaking valve cover gaskets, and the leaking oil pan gasket, im thinking its a safe bet. the rub is that the CDR has been DISCONTINUED by chevy..... seems like kinda a prick move...

ok, last question i hope, im lookin on ebay, and see lots of spacers. but to get to the reccomended 4-4.5 backspacing, i gotta spend alot of money... bout 300 plus shipping, there are some 2in spacers, which would give me a 5in backspacing, is that safe on the m1009 do you think? two pair would...
