Just recently found a bullet hole hiding under the floor mat and insulation rotting in the cab. I'll take a picture and post someday when I pull the rest of the crap out for lining.

It could be that there is a disruption in the module or something along those lines if your glowplugs aren't heating up. The wiring scheme in a cucv is madness. Oh, yeah almost forgot if your desperate and your vehicle is fueled up and is good to go you could try using ether. Just saying.

Yeah, you mean the radio mounting brackets yes, they belong along the center of the dash not many of the cucvs i've seen sold have them equiped, but there are some longer screws already in the dash for this purpose(usually). or you could drill holes to install a bracket wherever needed.

I was recently looking for CUCV guntruck examples and found that the Navy is using an new format of CUCV called COMBATT or COMercially BAsed Tactical Truck.

mine had gun racks, jack, jack handle, steering wheel chain, lug wrench, manual, measurement chart, heavily used spare, various bolts and screws, a single 5.56 blank, an 80's soda can tab, and an empty pack of marlboros wedged between the passengers seat.

Ha! thats not dissimilair to what is on my list as well, mabye minus a few. either way looks as though we've got our work cut out for us.

I just bought my first m1009 last week as well. there is work to be done but I'm not complaining.:-o
