But what you really need is a VSS-3 off of a Sheridan or M60 tank. Might be a bit overkill but then so is the Eye con unit.

What is the overlay along the bottom below the doors on the jack rail? . It doesn't look like the normal aluminum overlay armor. Maybe that is the first layer? Normally it has a pointy piece that sticks up between the doors. Kind of covers the green part.

I had to do the same thing. I also learned the hard way to not leave the riser in weapons tray.
