    Need TM 11-2300-351-15-5

I found the manual, Portrayal Press has it. Highly recommend it for the install, has great drawings.

    Need TM 11-2300-351-15-5

Thanks for the tip! I just signed up there. For some reason it won't let me view any images which is frustrating. I'll have to PM the mods and see what's up. Thanks again!

    Need TM 11-2300-351-15-5

You're right, no install is like the next, so that's why there is a separate guide for installing every iteration of the AN/VRC-12 family into the M151 family of vehicles. I just need to find the documentation so I don't have to drill willy-nilly into my vehicle. Ironically, I can find all...

    Need TM 11-2300-351-15-5

No, looked there too. Considering how utterly common this set-up is, I thought there'd be a template guide for drilling holes, etc.

    Need TM 11-2300-351-15-5

Hi- I have an M151A1 and am ready to install the AN/VRC-47 setup (one 524 RT and one 442 receiver) into the vehicle. The TM covering this install is TM 11-2300-351-15-5. This is by far the most common radio install I've seen in M151's that I've looked at in various military vehicle shows, but...

    T50 Turret resurrection

Hi G, I’d be interested to see how you handle getting the hatch to shut flush/concentric with the top of the turret. Both my vehicles have uneven gaps around the circumference where the hatch meets the turret. Kind of a pain to get it to shut and seal and be waterproof. I don’t think there’s...

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

Parts 13 and 22 are not wedges, they are a spacer. There are flat on top and bottom, there is no wedge profile. Part 13 has a hole in the center that engages with a pin on the bottom of the leaf spring. The raised surfaces of parts, 13 and 22 engage with the axle to prevent it from shifting...

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

In the first attachment, the drawing from the – 24P parts manual, that is the left front spring, with the left side of the drawing being in the front of the vehicle. As a further reference, he retaining nut for the Lower end of the shock absorber faces the rear of the vehicle.

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

And here is another V-100 with a fording shroud that is at a museum in New Jersey. Same holes for the exhaust system. The large cylinder on the back of the vehicle was for a fire extinguisher/suppression system, from its days as a police riot vehicle. Both of these vehicles (mine and the one...

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

One of my V100s has the fording shroud and the other does not. Either way, the grate over the exhaust bay is the same for both vehicles. Here’s pics of the one with the fording shroud. Ignore the lights, those I installed because I drive my vehicle on the street and they’re required. No idea...

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

Are you going to install the spring loaded fold down jump seats by the side doors? I think those were an E2-only option. Really wish they had those on all of the V100s, they’re very handy for facilitating easy entry/exit via the side door.

    Looking for V100 chassis pics

Very impressive level of detail. Is this an E2 version of the V-100? I’m assuming yes, based on the square opening in the roof. If you’re going to put a turret on it, no one‘s going to get to see all that great detail!

Pennsylvania “Military Historic Vehicle” Plates for HMMWV

I forgot to add, just make sure anything with the SF 97 is 25 years old or you won’t get an antique plate or a historic military vehicle registration. You may be able to register it as a classic if it’s at least 20 years old. I think that’s where a lot of guys with HMMWV’s are going to have a...
