Another update on the horn side anyway.
tested the horn switch. Connected one lead of my multi meter to ground, and the other to the horn switch terminal at the base of the steering column. No connection unless I pressed the horn button. Then I had connection. Checked the wire #25 that plugs...
Recently my 1991 M923A2 has started acting up. I first noticed the ABS light coming on randomly. A few drives later and I noticed the volt meter pegged at random times. Lastly, the horn decided it was going to come on and not turn off.
I unplugged the steering column and the horn is still on...
Birch harbor. the price was right and he did mention some one getting stung earlier this summer. I'll be busy this winter with it and I ordered every piece of metal that was rusty aside from the hat channels. All I need to get is those and I'll have all the rot gone.
Frontline has one left. $1500. Tnj has partial kits for $450.
I just ordered a ton of panels from Cameron, and I think I will wait for their kit to come out later on.
I just picked up a 64 M151, and I need the underbody repair kit large (major) for it. Does any one know where to get one? Or where to look for the most complete kit out there. I just ordered a bunch of panels I need from Cameron mfg. But they dont offer the underbody kit at this time. Any help...
Those are all from military surplus. The new ones are setup for m880's, and the used ones came off my dads 77, and my '76.
The choke arms are not held on with a screw...

on a side note, dont shoot that AP ammo in your M1... its loaded to full pressure allowed for a 30.06.... M1's actually have a special, lighter load for them. If you shoot the AP you WILL bend the operating rod.... even commercial 30.06 hunting ammo is too hot for it.
