Like Guyfang said, the only electrical thing in that injection pump is the on / off solenoid in the cover. If you are getting any fuel it's unlikely that it's the problem.
I went many rounds with an unruly 006A a while back (I will put the link to my thread below) and it had some similar...
In my case the resistance only started right as the rear most seal contacted the spindle. It was just slightly more force than I could push by hand - when I put the first axle nut on it installed with minimal torque. When the torque started to suddenly increase, the seal was fully seated and I...
The two internal seals that straddle the hole in the hub are to allow the air for the central tire inflation system to pass through. The inner wheel bearing doesn't get oil from the differential because of them, so it has to be greased.
For forces being higher than normal, I do remember that I...
When a friend of mine had this happen, he took the hub and wheel assembly off at the wheel bearings and brought it to me. The thimbles had broken at the top so I had to weld nuts on there repeatedly and use the 1 inch impact to break them off, one piece at a time, until all the broken pieces...
Assuming you are talking about the overflow valve circled in the crappy picture of a picture above, my ESN shows the part number superseded to 3963593.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't, assuming the brake lines are all still hooked up like normal so the spring brakes release. You're basically making a bobber without actually removing the back axle. Just be aware that since the two rear axles share load, it's going to be more prone to...
I think a lot of these trailers had parts mixed between versions over the years. The earlier axles used deuce hubs and one brake cylinder per wheel but the later axles are different and have trailer specific hubs and have two brake cylinders per wheel like the older trucks. The later ones have...
3912487 is what my ESN brings up in Quickserve so I think it's the right part number. However it is obsolete / discontinued with no replacement so it's unlikely you're going to find one in stock at a Cummins dealer. None of the distribution centers show any in stock.
It will not actuate until the switch closes, no. And if the pressure drops and the switch opens, it will stop again. Normally it will flash the mode it is set on when the switch is open. I don't know what it might do if it's been a long time since it successfully received input pressure though...
Have you verified that the supply pressure switch is closing? It's downstream of the pressure protection valve, passenger side of the truck down low and inboard of the air tanks. Try shorting the 2 pins of the harness together and see if it does anything. Fyi at least mine is a 3 pin connector...
The one you have shown is a brushless style. I forget exactly the nomenclature for it, but I had one for a brief minute that I bought from a forum member, and due to the large pulley and the brushless design, it would not charge below about 900 engine rpm if I am remembering correctly. That was...
