    Replacement canvas or vinyl covers

Yep, I can imagine how grit would tear up a machine. A few weeks ago I pressure washed and scrubbed both sides of the paulin, folded it and put it in the shop. It's about as clean as I can make it. But it's also one of the camo'd covers - no idea if it's CARC or latex, or? But when I take the...

    Replacement canvas or vinyl covers

Many thanks for those comments, Bulldogger. Great idea regarding the used machine, haven't even thought of that one. To start though, I'll be checking with a local guy that does lots of work with custom covers for ATV/UTV. Since I've got the material, it might be a better solution to just have...

    Replacement canvas or vinyl covers

Interesting thread. I'm in the process of planning a new custom top for a Haflinger I need to cover, and pricing stuff about makes me fall out of my chair. I think I'll just be using a good condition M35A2 vinyl woodland paulin that I've had in storage. Plenty of material on that can be...

Who has a TATRA in U.S.A.

There are a few out there, but it's tough finding the owners. Too bad MVPA doesn't really have an owners guide any more. I used to know of one T813 Kolos in California, no idea what happened to it. Likewise there was the 6x6 that was being worked on for several years, original guy that imported...

Alaska : looking meet other members.

Hah, just spotted this thread. Moved up here last year, still have to bring a last load up from down South. Right now I just have a Haflinger, but this year I'll probably be bringing a Unimog in. In the past I've had other Unimogs, M35A2C and a D, M151, WC51/52, various trailers, gennies...

Garaging A FLU,,what do you do? STEEL garage companies experiance?

Good thread, and I'm in the same boat - but up in Alaska. I've also found that getting steel building info is tough. Takes lots of time, and there are lots of useless sites out there. I need to run a minimum 30x60, heated floors, wood/oil heat and spray foam insulation. Also planning on a pit...

OK, going crazy here....who was doing the home build 8x8 Puma SdKfz 234?

Years ago, I could swear that someone out there was doing a home build on one, for reenactments. From what I recall, they completed it....and now I can't find anything about it on the 'net. Anyone remember this, or have a link I can do a follow up on?

Am I in the right place to find Halflinger folks?

Well, I'm another owner...700AP. Also want to say that there's a video project in the works, which sounds like lots of fun. There's also TheHaflinger.com...

As the saying goes....black goes with everything. Thanks for the input, folks. I'm still rebuilding an engine, sigh. Slowly.

3 or 4 color Woodland or desert camo on motorcycles?

Hmm. That last photo is interesting. His trousers and blouse look like ERDL, but the helmet cover doesn't match. No way it could have been standard woodland, not with that date. Interesting pic, thanks for posting it up.

Military use for 6x6 and 8x8 amphibious ATV's?

Do you have any links to information about that SOF use of the MaxII and IV's? I haven't seen that info before.
