I reckon they're just a bad design all together. I've read that some are converting to electric wipers. Might be the way to go to get reliable functioning wipers. A bit more than I wanted to have to do.
I just recently bought a new set of the plastic ones for my M185A3 from secoparts.net ($225 motor, arms and blades). Installed the motors. The arms didn't fit the motor shafts, had to drill them out to 17/64" to get them to fit. At first neither motor worked at all. I operated the manual handle...
I have the same oil pressure gauge issue, fluctuating and down to "0" at idle. What about dial lighting with the Detroit Diesel mechanical gauge? Does this work with our 24v systems? Any info helps. Thanks.
Can anyone identify or suggest a paint color match for my 1967 Kaiser Jeep M185A3. You can see where there was a sign attached to the truck on the side of the van body and the paint there appears to be less faded.
