Thinking about doing my grill, brush guard, bumpers and mirrorsin black but I love my tan.

So I have a m1008 that the previous owner converted to 12v...I replaced the alternator and have two new optima red tops in it, It seemed to charge fine now it seems like the batteriers are dead... I am going to check every wire and ground on the system and replace it all if need be but can...

My truck has the stock 6.2 with a 6.5 turbo and injectors, and it runs ok, but i still want to keep it diesel overall. I just have a bad habit of as soon as i get a new toy i automatically wanna tear it apart and make it something similar but yet totally different.....doesnt matter if its an AR...

So I love my M1008, but I hate not having the power that I feel it should have for a truck its size. So I am wondering what some have found as far as PROs/CONs of doing a gas swap or even a more powerful diesel swap.....thanks and as always I would love to see some pics

No fun there, I am trying to just find some OEM ones that will bolt into my 85-08, the ones from LMC do not fit at all....cant find any at all...

New seat belts from lmc...old ones didnt retract.New tie rod and ends from ORD.... still gotta coat it in bed liner before install...New speedo cable from lmc which after searching a little I now think is gonna be to short....New vent window handles...

Trans fluid loks and smells great but I havent driven it much and it could have been replaced right before I bought it...

And of course I let it run for a good 20min or so today, outside temp is nicer today and it drives like no problems at all....just my luck...

Nope transfer case is good to go, first time this happened we tried to put in 4wd and still got nothing....it almost seems like it has issues when on a slight incline...thought I felt it roll back the other day when I was on a slight incline but I was braking and parked...but idk im second...

ORD crossover is done....even if I had to do it in the rain for 2hrs....can't wait to test it today....

Opti-lube is the best from all the research I have read, I have to order it online but its supposed to be awesome for the engine.

I just got my ORD Kit in the mail yesterday and I have to agree with everybody else that drag link looks really straight. So besides this headache how did the rest of the install go? Cant wait to get mine on this weekend and finally have a rig that steers decent.
